Creation Reimagined.

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

That was said in 1986.

In 2017, life moves even faster.

It seems like every day there’s a new gadget, a new video, a new something for us to consume.

The study of Digital Media embraces the change. It explores these tech movements, how they impact us, and what’s coming next.

If you want to inspire people with digital art installations or design the next generation of gaming technology, we can take you there.

If you’ve ever tinkered with a motherboard or built an iPhone app, this could be the path for you.

What You’ll Learn

As a Digital Media student, you will learn about the raw tools that help create digital imagery and sound, including animation and 3D simulations.

You will also study larger concepts like artistic theories and the cultural impact of digital media on the world. Most importantly, you will learn to create.

You will begin the program by completing a common core of courses in first year. You will select from one of three specializations based on your interest: Digital Media Development (DMD) that has a greater focus on computer science, Digital Media Arts (DMA) that focuses more on fine arts or the brand new Digital Media Game Arts.

You will have an opportunity to participate in Lassonde’s paid internship program to gain valuable professional experience.
